    Professional overview

Law, technology and a decade of building.

I am a law graduate and tech entrepreneur. Before studying law, I spent more than a decade building and leading SOFTRE, working with startups and established companies on digital growth, technology strategy, regulatory considerations and international expansion. That experience gave me a perspective I now bring into law: an understanding of how technology is actually built, deployed, managed and scaled, and of the commercial, regulatory, operational and legal consequences that follow. At the University of Westminster I combined that background with practical experience in legal services and research — coordinating the Legal Advice Clinic's delivery of accessible legal support, and researching the growing use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies across the UK legal profession as a Student Research Centre Fellow. My focus is now on legal technology, artificial intelligence and the future of legal practice — how lawyers can combine sound legal judgment with technological and commercial understanding to improve how legal services are delivered and how access to justice can be strengthened.
