SOFTRE is operated by SOFTRE INDIA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN: U74999KA2017PTC104690). SOFTRE provides informational business verification, domain verification and due-diligence readiness tools, including the SOFTRE ShieldMark badge and Business Proof Passport.

We collect business information, personal information and domain verification information that is submitted, claimed or authorised by a business or its authorised representative, together with limited technical information generated when you use the service.

Includes company name, registration identifiers (such as CIN, LLPIN, GSTIN where applicable), website domain, addresses, business type, governance and operational information.

Includes name, business email, phone number where provided, role in the business and authentication information for authorised representatives and account holders. We may also collect technical information such as IP address, device and usage data.

Includes the website domain submitted, the verification method used (DNS TXT record, HTML file, meta tag or authorised domain email), the verification token issued, the verification result and the timestamp of the check.

Documents that an authorised representative uploads as part of a profile review or correction request are scoped to the authenticated user and SOFTRE review staff. Documents are not made publicly accessible.

To create and maintain SOFTRE business profiles and Business Proof Passports, issue and manage ShieldMark badges, generate readiness indicators, support authorised sharing with reviewers, manage accounts and authentication, respond to enquiries, and operate the service responsibly.

Submission of business or personal information through SOFTRE forms confirms consent for SOFTRE to process the information for the purposes described in this notice. Consent for optional uses may be withdrawn at any time.

SOFTRE Business Proof Passport pages are public when a ShieldMark badge is active. Detailed readiness reports and uploaded documents are shared only with parties authorised by the business or its representative. SOFTRE does not operate a public adverse listing or public blacklist of businesses.

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, manage badges and renewals, meet contractual or legal obligations, and support correction or grievance processes.

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure; we do not represent that information is immune from unauthorised access.

SOFTRE shares information with service providers (such as cloud infrastructure, email, payment and analytics providers) strictly to operate the service. SOFTRE does not sell personal information.

Information in a SOFTRE profile or ShieldMark verification page may be reviewed via the correction request process. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, restriction on the use of, or erasure of your personal information.
